Sandcastle Rap???

Yoh! Yoh! Here we are, all at the beach,
Meddling sandcastles within our reach.
Grab some sand and pour some water,
Clinch it hard and it won't tumble.
Build a castle and protect your kingdom,
In no time, you gotta switch for freedom. Cos,
Peace has set in, let's collaborate,
Adapt to changes and reach our target.

Yours truly,

Sandcastle Building - Alfred Liu

The completing of the sandcastle in one hour seem impossible at the beginning as I never had any experience. However, as each individual come together to play their part, the sandcastle was up. It was a sense of achievement as the 'impossible' was done. An empowering experience.

Sandcastle Building

Hi everyone,

though i had experience in building sandcastle, however this was my first time building such a HUGE one! Through this experience, i felt that when there are changes, we need to learn to accept changes positively & take these changes as new challenges, so that we will be able to move on steadily....remember you are not alone, there is always people around you to help out if you need help.

A BIG thanks to SWC committee for organising such a GREAT event!

Sandcastle Teambuilding @ East Coast Park (20/6/08)

Ola everyone....

Hope that you had a great time during our Sandcastle Teambuilding activity at the East Coast Park.....

Now is the time for us to each reflect on our takeaway for this activity.....

Alright, let me get the ball rolling.....

I had a ball of time doing something that I long for...building sandcastles...of course under proper guidance of our instructors....

On top of the enjoyment in building them, I really appreciate the apportunity given in learning more abt each other's strength and my own weaknesses. Everyone was opened to suggestions and work towards the goal. I realised that one needs proper guidance and must not be shy to seek help from the expert or even our pupils whenever we encounter new challenges.

Well, despite the heat, I would say it was a gd job well done by the SWC.......hats off to you guys.......GR8 JOB PPL!

Cheers,
Hairi
