Remember the book, 'The Little Prince'?
Well, the book might be thin and the story might be short and simple to some. To others, it could be otherwise.
However, there are lots of learning points and some key takeaways from the book that could be applied or reflected in our teaching and learning journey in JPS or even in our wonderful personal life!!!
So, JPS Educators of Love, lets get the ball rolling!!!!!
Here are some burning questions that could guide you through.....
What do you think the book is about? (Just by looking at the illustration and tittle of the book)
Is the book childish?
Is it suitable for adult?
Why, in the first place, the book was given to us?
Was the book given to us for a purpose or it was just a gift from one of our vendors?

Frankly, I had no clue about this book when it was given to me. It was even kept at home to 'collect dust'. I even thought to introduce the book to my own children at home........However, when I was 'force' to read and reflect the 1st chapter, I fell in love with what the book can offer in understanding our roles as teachers or adults and the colourful world of the pupils in JPS.....
...Well, that's my short, sweet and truthful input....

Actually, I started reading the other book first and had finished reading it.
After that I started to read The Little Prince. Initially I found the book a bit boring but as I continued to read, I found that this book contains a lot of information we need.
As for chapter 1, it shows that the grown ups are very judgemental and view things differently and like to give suggesstions.
I guess we are all like that. Maybe that has to be changed so that we could keep our options open.
